\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAccording to article 215 of L. 4957\/2022, in each Higher Educational Institution (HEI) an administrative structure is recommended, where the level and administrative structure are determined by the \u201cQuality Assurance Unit (QA). QA is functionally independent of the other units and is supervised by the Rector or the relevant vice-Rector that has been assigned by the relevant authority.\n\nThe mission of the QA is the continuous quality improvement of the educational and research work of the Institution and the effective operation and performance of its services, in accordance with international practices, especially of the European Higher Education Area, and the guidelines of the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education (HAHE). QA is structured internally by a) the Quality Assurance Committee and b) the Quality Assurance Service.
\n\nQuality Assurance Committee is established by the decision of the Senate, and it consists of:\n
    \n \t
  1. the Rector or the competent vice-Rector of HEI<\/li>\n \t
  2. five (5) members of the Teaching Research Staff (TRS) of HEI, in the rank of Professor or Associate Professor<\/li>\n \t
  3. one (1) representative from each category of members of Laboratory Teaching Staff (L.T.S.), Special Educational Staff (S.E.S.), and Special Technical Laboratory Staff (S.T. L.) of HEI<\/li>\n \t
  4. one (1) representative of the undergraduate students<\/li>\n \t
  5. one (1) representative of the postgraduate students and doctoral candidates<\/li>\n \t
  6. one (1) representative from the Visiting Professors, appointed lecturers, Visiting Researchers, and Contract Researchers employed at HEI.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\nThe Commission incumbency is five years. The representatives of paragraphs d) to f) are nominated on an annual basis and have the right to vote on matters related to their faculty. The Chief of QA and the Executive Director of HEI participate in the meetings without the right of voting.\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
