The Information System of the Quality Assurance Unit was developed in order to cover a wide range of functions of the University of Thessaly.
In particular, the new Information System collects data both from the Information Systems of the University of Thessaly and from the members of the Academic community so that it is possible to fill in the data required by the OPESP system of Hellenic Authority for Higher Education (HAHE). In addition, it has the proficiency to collect data that the institution deems necessary for the achievement of all its quality assurance related objectives.
In order for the collection of data to be as automated as possible, the new system is interconnected with the University’s systems, such as the Student Register (Electronic Secretariat), the e-class platform, the program of the Interconnection service, the graduate registration database, the system of Research Committee, the Board of the Financial Service, and the Board of the Personnel Directorate of the Foundation. Additionally, in order to be able to send data to HAHE automatically, it is interconnected with the OPESP system of ETHAAE.
The new Quality’s Assurance Unit Information System exports all the quality data required by HAHE. In addition, it has the capability to export other quality data that the UTH will designate.
To access the Information System of Quality Assurance Unit with a device outside the network of the University of Thessaly, the connection to the Virtual Local Area Network (VPN)<\/a> of the Institution is required.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
