Quality Assurance Committee
The Quality Assurance Committee is established by decision of the Senate and consists of: a) the Rector or the competent Vice-Rector of the University, b) five (5) members of the Teaching Research Staff of the University with the rank of Professor or Associate Professor, c) one (1) representative from each category of members of Laboratory Teaching Staff, Special Educational Staff and Special Technical Laboratory Staff of the University, d) one (1) representative of the undergraduate students, e) one (1) representative of the postgraduate students and doctoral candidates, and f) one (1) representative from the Visiting Professors, appointed lecturers, Visiting Researchers and Contract Researchers who are employed at the university. The term of office of the Commission is five years. The representatives of d) to f) categories are nominated on an annual basis and have the right to vote on matters related to their status. The Head of the Quality Assurance Unit and the Executive Director of the University participates in the meetings of the Committee without the right to vote.
